Cie Suspendu is a performance and design company based in France initiated by circus artist and scenographer Danny Tavori, and co-directed by the sound and code artist Nir Jacob Younessi.

Originally founded as a contemporary circus company, it has evolved over time into an interdisciplinary structure that bridges installation, live art, ritual, and performance.

The two artists bring together over eight years of international collaboration, merging their respective practices in suspension-based circus, physical theatre, sound design, and interactive technology.

At the heart of Cie Suspendu is a research-driven approach to space, object, and the body's relation to both. The company’s work often investigates domestic and symbolic environments, revealing their tensions and latent narratives through transformation, dismantling, or re-ritualization. With a strong emphasis on scenographic precision and conceptual clarity, their creations occupy a fluid territory between spectacle and contemplation.

Cie Suspendu operates across multiple formats: immersive installations that animate furniture and space with coded light and sound; performances that explore suspension, nature, and the dislocated body; and collaborative rituals that seek to re-enchant public and marginal spaces. Whether site-specific or staged, the work resists categorization and seeks to invite the audience into emotionally resonant, sensorially rich experiences.
