Oy Vey Zmir
A Grotesque, Virtuosic Survival Ritual
Two women, half-nuns and half-widows, find themselves trapped inside a funeral
ritual that slowly spirals into a wild celebration of life.
Blending contemporary circus, dance, physical theatre, dark humor, live soundtrack &
invented speech, Oy Vey Zmir explores power, dependency, rivalry, tenderness, and
survival through an intensely physical and visually striking language.
Suspended between earth and air, ceremony and chaos, the performers navigate a
world where every act of support can become a struggle, and every collapse holds the
possibility of transformation.
At once absurd, virtuosic, and deeply human, Oy Vey Zmir invites audiences into a
ritual of endurance, transformation, and the fragile art of finding oneself in the
other.
